Today Speaking SPAEN AGM Coatbridge College - Scottish Personal Assistant Employers Network (SPAEN)

"A celebration of self-directed support"
This year, SPAEN's AGM focuses on the successes created by 'Self-Directed Support', allowing people to make informed choices about how they want to live their lives.
We'll be hearing from:
  • Rhoda Grant MSP, List MSP for Highlands & Islands and member of the Scottish Parliament's Cross Party Working Groups on Carers; Muscular Dystrophy; Older People; Age and Ageing and Member of the Health & Sport Committee;
  • Thomas Whitelaw, Campaigner for Dementia Awareness;
  • DICE, the support organisation in Dumfries & Galloway;
  • Mariann Gilhooley, Employment Law Solicitor with TC Young Solicitors;
  • Laura Forbes, Vice-Chair of SPAEN and PA Employer.
Delegates will be treated to a thought-provoking; informative and entertaining day.
Coatbridge College have kindly offered a range of male and female treatments to SPAEN AGM delegates, including:
  • Health checks (weight; blood pressure etc);
  • Male grooming including hot towel shave and barber service;
  • Other hairdressing services including cut & blow dry; conditioning treatments and head massage;
  • Manicures and gel nails;
  • Hand & body massages
All treatments are bookable on arrival and are entirely FREE for delegates.
We will also be treated to a drama presentation before enjoying a fork buffet and prize raffle including:
  • Signed Glasgow Celtic jersey
  • 2 complimentary tickets for Glasgow Rangers vs. Airdrie at Ibrox Park (Saturday 2nd November)
  • 1 hour golf tuition at Loch View Golf Club, Coatbridge
And to close the event, we have an optional FREE concert featuring local bands.

Booking is essential.  Car parking spaces will be available for blue badge holders and the venue is entirely accessible throughout.
